I have followed the work done by Leyland Kirby as The Caretaker and many fan projects that have come out in reference to his music. But this is different, something mixed with a slight sweetness and a nostalgic charm that makes me dance in my sleep. I love every one of the samples used here and also her other albums, but this one, her self-titled album, has my favorite song, smile dance in depression. This project is a gem to discover on Bandcamp for those of us who love The Caretaker.
